Tuesday after a Monday slate usually feels slow. This one doesn't. Lane Johnson just ended a 14 year career spent entirely in Philadelphia, and before I even got to the numbers I found myself thinking about offensive linemen and how rarely you get to watch one start and finish in the same building. That's not a betting thought. It's just where my head was when I sat down to build today's board.

Here's what's actually on it.

NFL odds today: the spots I'm tracking

  1. Baltimore Ravens ML (+131) at Atlanta. My number has this fair at -103, and that's not a rounding error, that's nearly a field goal of value hiding on a short underdog. Strongest tag on the whole board at 17.2% EV. What turns it into a play: the price surviving past midweek. Numbers this loud usually don't last.
  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ML (+385) at Dallas, Thursday night. Fair number comes in at 327, still a real gap at a plus price. What turns it into a play: Dallas's defensive injury report staying as thin on Thursday as it looks today. Short week spots move fast.
  1. New York Giants ML (+164) at Washington. Fair 132, double digit edge on a road dog. What turns it into a play: confirmation Washington's front seven is still banged up when kickoff actually arrives.
  1. Philadelphia Eagles ML (+250) at Jacksonville. Smallest edge on my board today, just over 5%, and that's the interesting part. Lane Johnson's retirement hit the wire the same day I built this number. The market hasn't had time to fully digest a legacy right tackle walking away. What turns it into a play: watching whether this number drifts wider as books price in the line shakeup, or stays put because it was already baked in.
  1. Seattle Seahawks ML (-152) over San Francisco. This one's a pass. Fair number says -140, which puts it in the red at -3.3% EV, lean tag only. The reporting that Seattle passed on Joe Mixon after his physical doesn't move this needle either way, it's roster depth noise, not a line mover. The math says pass, and I'm saying it out loud.

The lean, not a play

If I had to point at one number on the board right now, it's Baltimore. A 17% gap on a divisional road dog isn't a longshot story, it's a live conversation, and I want to see if the market finds it before kickoff or lets it ride.

I didn't manufacture anything else off this wire. The Eagles tackle news is real and worth watching, the Mixon news isn't a betting story at all, and nothing here is a tip, it's the Read.

I'll have the actual numbers once lines firm up closer to kickoff. This is entertainment with real variance attached, 21+ where legal, and if any of this ever stops feeling fun, that's 1-800-GAMBLER, not a bad beat story. You know where to find me.
